Blind Box, Booster Packs and Sealed CollectiblesUpdated an hour ago

PUSHAS guarantees the product, not the outcome. Every sealed item is authentic, factory-sealed and unsearched, exactly as it left the manufacturer. What is inside it is random, and nobody at PUSHAS knows or chooses it.

What counts as a sealed or random item?

Anything where the contents are decided by the manufacturer rather than by the listing.

  • Blind boxes and blind bags, including POP MART and Sonny Angel.
  • Pokémon TCG booster packs, blisters, booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes and sealed cases.
  • One Piece Card Game booster packs, booster boxes and sealed starter decks.
  • Other sealed trading card product, including Topps.
  • Mystery items and randomised figure series.

In each case you are buying a defined product with undefined contents. That is the whole proposition, and it is what the price reflects.

What does PUSHAS guarantee?

Four things, and they are the four that matter.

  • Authenticity. The item is genuine manufacturer product.
  • Sealed. It arrives as it left the manufacturer, with the factory seal intact.
  • Unsearched. It has not been weighed, mapped, opened or resealed at any point in our care.
  • As described. The set, series, product type and quantity are what the listing says.

PUSHAS does not open, inspect or alter sealed product before shipping it.

How do I know a sealed item has not been searched?

Because it is checked before it reaches you.

Searched and resealed product is a known problem in trading cards, and Pokémon TCG in particular. It is one of the things our authenticators look for. Seals, wrap, weight and packaging condition are all assessed, and anything that does not present as factory sealed does not go out.

A seller found sending searched or tampered product loses access to PUSHAS permanently.

What does PUSHAS not guarantee?

Anything about what is inside.

  • No specific character, figure or card. Including chases, secrets and short prints.
  • No particular rarity or pull. Odds are set by the manufacturer and are the same for everyone.
  • No grade. A card pulled from a sealed pack may or may not grade well, and that is outside anyone's control.
  • No complete set. Buying a full case does not mean receiving one of everything unless the manufacturer states that.

We cannot select a figure for you, and we would not know how to. The item is sealed when we receive it and sealed when it leaves.

What about small manufacturing variances?

They are normal, and they are not defects.

On figures: paint smudges, slight misprints, uneven finishing and minor differences between examples of the same figure. These occur across all mass-produced blind box product globally.

On cards: centring, small edge or corner wear, print lines and surface texture, straight out of a sealed pack. This applies to Pokémon TCG, One Piece Card Game and every other sealed card product. A card is not damaged because it came out off-centre. That is how it was cut.

These are characteristics of mass production. They are not a fault in the individual item, and they are not something PUSHAS can prevent by inspecting a sealed product it does not open.

Can I return a sealed item?

Not because of what was inside it. That is the nature of what you bought, and it applies whether you are delighted or disappointed.

The 2 hour cancellation window applies to these items as it does to anything else, for any reason, provided the item has not shipped.

Once a sealed item is opened it cannot be returned at all, because it can no longer be sold as sealed.

What if something is actually wrong?

That is different, and it is not a question of luck.

Contact us if an item arrives that is not authentic, has been opened or tampered with, is not the set, series or product described, is short on quantity, or is damaged in transit. Photograph it before unpacking further.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply to sealed and randomised product exactly as they do to anything else, and nothing on this page changes them.

Does the outer packaging matter?

For sealed collectibles, often as much as the contents.

Where a sealed box or case shows shelf wear, a dented corner or a crease, it is described on the listing. Anything that happens in transit is a claim, and the double-boxing exists precisely to prevent it.
