How quickly will my stock sell on PUSHAS?Updated 4 days ago
PUSHAS has the fastest sell-through of any consignment marketplace in the southern hemisphere. How quickly a particular piece sells comes down to demand for that item in that size, and to where your payout sits in the queue. Some pieces sell within minutes. Others take longer.
Speed is not luck. It is position.
What determines how quickly a piece sells?
Three things, in the order they matter.
- Your position in the queue. For every size, listings are ordered by price, and the one at the front is what buyers see. That is the listing that sells. Everything behind it is waiting.
- Demand for the piece, in that size. Demand moves size by size, not item by item. A piece can be in high demand overall and slow in your size, or the reverse.
- Your channel. Onsite listings carry the Fastest label, and buyers consistently choose them over equivalent listings.
Condition matters too. A declared damaged box sits below equivalent listings in the same size, and should be priced with that in mind.
How do I sell faster?
Four levers, all of them yours.
- Move toward the front of the queue. The Seller Platform shows you where you sit and names the payout that would put you first. This is the single most direct control you have.
- Sell onsite. Your listing carries the Fastest label, it dispatches the moment it sells, and buyers favour it.
- List more widely. More pieces live across more sizes is more chances to be the listing at the front.
- Revisit your listings. The payout that was competitive when you listed may not be a month later. Reviewing regularly is what separates inventory that moves from inventory that sits.
Why does onsite sell faster?
Because the piece is already with us.
Onsite inventory is authenticated on arrival and dispatches the moment a buyer commits. There is no leg between the sale and the delivery, which is why those listings carry the Fastest label, and why buyers prefer them and pay more for them.
Offsite has to travel to us before it can travel to the buyer. That is a slower experience, and buyers can see it before they choose.
What if a piece is not moving?
Open it in the Seller Platform and look at where it sits. If you are not near the front of the queue for that size, that is almost always the answer.
From there you have a straightforward choice. Move your payout toward the front and sell sooner, or hold your number and wait for the listings ahead of you to clear. Both are legitimate. Holding out for the right buyer on a genuinely scarce piece is a strategy, not a mistake. Holding out on a crowded size usually just means waiting.
Your dedicated account manager can tell you which of those you are looking at.
How do I know what sells?
PUSHAS sends sellers monthly analytics on what is moving, so you can source against real demand rather than instinct. Your account manager can go through it with you.
