Is it free to store inventory at PUSHAS?Updated an hour ago
Yes. Storing your inventory at PUSHAS is free for up to 12 months. There is no monthly charge and no rent while a piece is listed and selling.
Inventory that has not sold within 12 months is returned to you, at your cost.
What is included?
- Storage. Free for up to 12 months, in a PUSHAS distribution centre.
- Insurance. Your inventory is covered while it is in our care.
- Fulfillment. When a piece sells, we pick, pack and ship it.
This is the part of consignment most platforms charge for by the month. We do not.
How long can I store inventory for?
Twelve months. If a piece has not sold in that time, we return it to you and the return shipping is your cost.
Worth keeping in mind when you set a payout. A piece priced to sit is a piece you will eventually pay to get back, so it is cheaper to review a slow listing at month three than to collect it at month twelve.
Two other things that can cost you
Sending inventory we cannot identify
Everything must be listed in the Seller Platform before it arrives. Inventory that turns up without a listing cannot be matched to you or made live, and it accrues a daily charge until it is listed.
This is the single most common charge on the platform and it takes a minute to avoid. List first, then ship.
Withdrawing inside the first 14 days
Listings need to stay live for at least 14 days. A piece withdrawn inside that window attracts a charge per item. After 14 days you can withdraw and relist freely.
Does this apply to offsite selling?
No. Offsite sellers hold their own inventory, so there is nothing for us to store. Free storage is one of the reasons to consider moving onsite.
What if I want my inventory back?
Withdraw it from the Seller Platform and tell us how you want it returned. Collection, your own label, or a PUSHAS label are all options, and costs differ between them.
Is my inventory insured while you hold it?
Yes, while it is in our care. Insurance does not extend to transit in either direction, which is a separate question and worth understanding before you ship.
