Is my inventory insured at the warehouse?Updated an hour ago

Yes. Your inventory is insured from the moment it is accepted at a PUSHAS distribution center until it leaves us, up to the payout you set.

Cover applies while your inventory is in our care. It does not extend to transit, in either direction, and it does not cover deterioration over time. Both are explained below.

What is it insured for?

The payout you set on the listing, as at the time of the event.

That is the number you entered and the number you would have been paid had the piece sold. Nothing is deducted from it.

When does cover start and stop?

  • Starts when your inventory is received, authenticated and accepted at a PUSHAS distribution center.
  • Runs for as long as it is held with us.
  • Stops when it leaves us, whether that is to a buyer or back to you.

Before it reaches us and after it leaves us, cover is whatever you arranged with your carrier.

What happens if my inventory deteriorates in storage?

Deterioration is not covered, and it is worth understanding why.

Older pieces degrade because of the materials they were made from, not because of where they are kept. In sneakers this shows as sole crumbling, panels separating, old materials tearing and colours shifting. It is common across brands and it is a property of the product rather than a storage failure.

PUSHAS holds inventory in conditions designed to slow it down. Nothing stops it entirely, and PUSHAS does not take responsibility for deterioration over time.

What if a piece is no longer sellable?

Where a piece has deteriorated to the point that it no longer meets the standard we sell at, PUSHAS may return it to you rather than send it to a buyer.

This is the honest outcome. A buyer receiving a piece that has aged badly is worse for you than a return, and our authentication standard is the same at the point of sale as it was on arrival.

Does this apply to offsite inventory?

No. Offsite sellers hold their own inventory, so there is nothing in our care to cover. Insurance while stored is one of the advantages of selling onsite.
